The Unusual Journey

Rumble, rumble

In they tumbled

Into a world so jumbled.

They searched around

But only found

Their brittle bones crumble.

An elbow here

An elbow there

Was enough to create a scare.

The smell was sweat

The view was wet

They pretended not to care.

They held on tight

With all their might

To prevent a fatal fall.

Waited in silence

And kept from violence

To hear the station call.

It was tough

This is no bluff

It involved a lot a pain.

But it’s here to stay

So don’t pray

This is the life in a train.
